This was the first piece I built. After shopping around for a TV stand and finding out the one
that matched our TV was on backorder for 3 weeks. I decided I could build a lot nicer one than I could buy.
I found the original plans from Wood Magazine but made a few modifications to get exactly what we wanted.
I did run into problems with the stain though and will never use the Minwax PolyShades product again.

By building the TV stand I was able to convince my wife that I actually could build something that looked decent.
This of course meant my honey to-do list grew by quite a lot. Next on that list was a matching end table for our
living room. I came up with my own plans to complete this as I couldn't find any big enough
that I liked.

After visiting some Amish furniture stores and finding their tilt-out trash can holder. We decided
this would be perfect to hide our ugly trash can in the kitchen. This again was one of my own plans.

My wife designed these shelves to display one of our wine glass sets. This was my first introduction
to the wonders of crown molding.

This was another piece that matches our TV stand and end table. The buffet has been completed
but the hutch is still being completed. It is definitely the biggest piece so far measuring over 71" wide.
The buffet also doubles as the world's biggest scrapbook holder storing my wifes many projects.

This jewelry cabinet was built to store over 56 necklaces/bracelets. Using Curly Maple and Walnut helped make
this jewelry cabinet really pop. The box joints on the cabinet helped accent the two tone look even more.

King size platform bed was the first piece build in the bedroom suite. The bed is made of Mahogany with Curly Maple accents.

Two large dressers made out of Mahogany and Curly Maple to match the bed. The drawers feature box joints and cedar plywood bottoms.

Three drawer night stands made of Mahogany and Curly Maple. Also features cedar plywood bottoms.
